The Service User Consultation was carried to ascertain the views of Service Users regarding access their and opportunities to employment . The process involved a series of open events, focus groups. workshops and one to one interviews. In all approximately 273 people were consulted and over 25 partner organisation supported the planning and delivery of the consultation. The events aimed to :
- inform people who use services of the Equal Access to Employment strategy
- explore what people who use services think needs to happen to make the strategy work and therefore make it easier for them to gain work
- explore how people who use services prefer to be involved to inform how service user involvement could be built into the strategy.
